Hi, I am Dr. Jessica Owens, owner of and lead behaviorist at Unleashed Training, a concierge training and behavioral care company servicing Volusia County, Florida. We specialize in providing a holistic approach to improving the guardian-pet relationship by teaching you how to effectively communicate with and understand your dog. Our goal is not a perfect dog, but a happy, healthy, well-mannered member of your family!

Our services are unlike anything you've experienced - I am an expert in animal behavior, psychology, and communication. I consider each client a puzzle and work to understand the underlying causes of behavioral issues to find the best solutions for your situation.

Our training and behavioral modification methods are based in positive reinforcement, but I am not blindly committed to any ideology; each dog is an individual. My specialty is determining the best way to help you and your dog, and I often combine several techniques.  

 

With any potential client I like to schedule an assessment to get to know you, your dog, and the dynamics of your household. During the assessment you will describe your concerns and goals for your pup and I will describe my training methods, a likely treatment plan, and what a typical session entails.
